Hi there , I have spoken to you before about this matter but i will try and be brief. I have leased 2 motels and the owner has sold 1 of them that included the business. The Lease does not expire until February 2021. he has breached the conditions of the lease at least once, i was never offered first right of refusal ( i was third in line ) and

Not a lot, mainly because I cannot afford lawyers and i know he will drag out the case so i would have to give up. I have been told I have a very strong case against him and wanted to see if I could find a lawyer who would help me but be paid after it was done. The list of things this man has done to us is too long to write down.Every one i have told our story to believes we can win this.

By selling 1 of the Motels our income has been hugely reduced and we are now 2 months in arrears with the rent.We have never been in breach of our lease for more than 3 years until he did this.

I think when I answered your previous question I mentioned that you cannot sell the property and cancel the lease. If the property is sold the lease continues. The new owner will be bound by the existing lease. If you are not making any money, you may qualify for civil legal aid and I could suggest lawyers who may be able to take this on. It is relatively difficult to find lawyers who will take files on a contingency fee basis

i understand, he even tried to get me to sign a waiver giving up all rights to the other motel and I agreed with the sale and have no rights to do anything about what he has done. Any help would be very much appreciated, If I had the time to tell you everything he has done you would cringe.

Hi Chris, no I never signed it in fact I have it , Eric stopped talking to me and I was dealing with his accountant . That day i was supposed to sign it and they would give me my $26,000.00 back. That money is mine and was part of a $40,000,00 bond we paid.
