It does look as though the funds were mixed so that it may be possible that all the property is relationship property.If the house was used as the matrimonial home, it does not matter if the funds were inherited from one and placed in the house purchase. Once the funds are used for a joint purpose that means they are relationship property. The only exception is where there is a family trust or the parties have a contracting out agreement. Even the new business may be relationship property if the source of funds was mixed or from the home as security

A contracting out agreement is a contract which spouses enter to presribe what property each of them owns and what each will get if they separate. You would likely know if you had one, as the formal requirements are that each of you would need to get independent lawyers advising you.

As for the property, if was used in the past as relationship property, such as a home or holiday home, or the profits go to general relationship purposes or if the funds to buy it came from joint earnings and using the family home as security, or similar mixing, then it is likely to be relationship property.
