Rangitikei n.z. I am an on call worker and my contract states im entitled to time and a half for any call out with a minimum payment of 2 hours. My dilema is that there is an unwritten rule that has been in the institution for some time which is along the lines that if you get called out after 5am,(Our shift starts at 0730..) Very difficult to complete the work in that time frame.
