I am a New Zealand lawyer based in Wellington and will help with your question todayYou could use the address of a friend as the address for service, which is what they need. If you don’t have someone I would contact the Hamilton Community Law Centre and ask if you can use them. But I don’t think the case needed to be transferred and I suspect the District Coury judge may send it back. You can fax or email the statement of claim but you will need to contact the court to pay the filing fee, which can be done online
