I need advice on my contract. Rangitikei n.z. I am an on
Rangitikei n.z. I am an on call worker and my contract states im entitled to time and a half for any call out with a minimum payment of 2 hours. My dilema is that there is an unwritten rule that has been in the institution for some time which is along the lines that if you get called out after 5am,(Our shift starts at 0730..) You have to only work a totoatl of 8 hour .Now that posses a real problem as we are Regostered nurses caring for elderly and it is alway very very busy . Very difficult to complete the work in that time frame.
