Customer Question

Someone had bought me gifts and now his family are going to go to the police to get the money back. Have I done anything wrong?

The police generally don't want to be involved in civil claims like this. It will be your word against the family, and you might want to make sure you have any texts or messages about this. The police may possibly interview you, but if you insist that these were gifts then they are unlikely to do anything
