You will need to make a claim to the Disputes Tribunal on the basis that the package was sold in a way which was misleading and deceptive. This is a ground under the Fair Trading Act. It doesnt matter if this is not called a time share but effectively it is similar and the Tribunal will have dealt with similar claims. Even though they are claiming againt you, you can still start a claim in the Tribunal on the basis they have sought money from you which you dispute.
So you need to think about what they said about the holiday plan, and what you found this actually meant in reality. You should also ask for the credit rating to be removed as part of your claim.
