If there is a serious case of fraud, then the Australian police may decide to extradite you. This would depend on the amount which was taken when the credit cards were stolen. If this were a very large sum of money and many charges, then it is possible they will do so. However, if this is just a few and a small amount of money they are unlikely to go to the expense

The New Zealand police and the Australian police do cooperate, but only would do so in serious cases.
