christhelawyer : This sounds like a case where you will need to seek judicial review of the council decisions. If their decision is irrational, or even unlawful then this can be revisited by the High Court. Another remedy could be the Ombudsman, although this may be something where a judicial review with an urgent application, could move more quickly. You can seek interim relief under the Judicature Amendment Act to hold the position until it can be fully argued.
