christhelawyer : It is not easy to contest a will by an aunt. You can challenge wills under the Family Protection Act but for parents, and not aunts or uncles. If there has been a promise however the Testamentary Promises Act can allow claims but the evidence of the promise has to be strong and uncertain. You may also want to consider if she was of sound mind when she made the will. I do suggest they see a lawyer to discuss the claims however
