But what does she need to do? Write a letter, or is there a form she has to complete? If so, where can I find this form please?

She will not be changing her position / company she works for or job description. She will be coming up to 2 yrs, in country.
christhelawyer : You must contact Immigration and explain to your case officer that there is a risk the work visa will expire before the police clearance arrives. You should ask them to assess this for a section 61 extension and they will then do so and contact you. As well as ringing them, an email or letter should be sufficient.
