I was a homestay Host for two international student s for 6 weeks they where under school homestay until they decided to become private boarders . A basic contract term by myself and them was signed , food power included in weekly rent , when it come to pay their next month rent , they advised me they didnt have the money to pay , so they asked me to drop the rent to a bare minimum and pay for their own food , or they would move out to board with other studentsand would have to pay rent just buy food , I felt very manipulated , I said if they didnt have the rent for next month which was due in 10days they would need to move out , I did ask them to reconsider to help them out I made them an offer to reduction of rent etc which they decided not to take , they gave me 9 days notice I was quite upset so I asked them to lease as soon as possible I believe they where going to other students home , they packed their bags that day , now they are treating me as I owe them two weeks rent and if I dont pay up they will go to the police and claim under the small claims court , they are both getting their support from the accommodation coordinate from the college.… read more
