Unfortunately while she can probably delay this for a year or two, it is unlikely the family Court would permit her to occupy until the child finishes school. This could of course be a further four years. The principle that the family court usually states is what they call the clean break principle. This means that the court regards XXXXX XXXXX important to get property issues resolved quickly and divided quickly, so that parties can get on with their own lives.

Sometimes you can make arrangements to defer a sale and combine it with an issue like child-support. It may be worth discussing some arrangement like this with the father to see if he could wait for this period. But otherwise even if she resists through court, about two years is all she could get.
