As a first offender you will get the standard disqualification of 6 months and a fine between $400 and $1000 plus court costs which are about $180.

It is possible to get a limited licence which will enable you to drive for work purposes, and I suggest you instruct a local lawyer to do this.

This is not something you would get jail for, as it is always a fine and loss of licence-this is mandatory and the judge has no ability to let you off the loss of licence as the statute is quite strict
