30.3 Procedure (1) An application for judicial review under Part 1 of the Judicature Amendment Act 1972 and an application for an extraordinary remedy must be commenced by statement of claim and notice of proceeding in accordance with Part 5 of the rules. (2) The heading of an application for review under Part 1 of the Judicature Amendment Act 1972 must state that it is an application for review. (3) A statement of claim seeking an extraordinary remedy may claim more than 1 of those remedies and may claim any other relief (including damages) to which the plaintiff may be entitled. (4) Section 9 of the Judicature Amendment Act 1972 applies in respect of an application for review under Part 1 of that Act as if the reference to a motion were a reference to a notice of proceeding filed in accordance with the rules.
