You will have to change the application to a sloe application, which will mean redrafting the forms. When you file the application, the court will prepare a copy for service on her, and you should arrange to have her served, preferably not you although you can be present when she is served. You will then need to file an affidavit of service, and when this is done, the court can make an order dissolving the marriage.

Yes-sorry about the jargon, but someone needs to hand her her a copy of the documents, and get a receipt for them. If she does not cooperate, then dropping them at her feet will do. This would need to be mentioned in the affidavit of service.

the procedure is you lodge the application and supporting affidavit, any separation agreement (if any), a sealed marriage certificate, and the filing fee with the Family Court. they usually have copies you can use as a guide. You then file these and the court staff will give you a copy to serve. They may do this one the spot or wait a few days, but not for long. Once it is served then your wife has 30 days to respond, and if she does not, then the court will make the order and send you a selaed copy. It takes about 2 months usually from start to finish.
