VerifiedThe place to complain about bank actions like this is the Banking Ombudsman. They can be contacted at http://www.bankomb.org.nz/. Banks have wide power over accounts but this appears to have been outside that power, no doubt why they reversed the money. The Banking Ombudsman does not charge any fee for investigating this either.
