A little over 2 weeks ago, I started having a twitch in the
A little over 2 weeks ago, I started having a twitch in the muscle between my thumb and index finger. Strong enough to move my index finger. I started looking it up and ALS kept coming up. I went to the ER, as recommended by a doctor, and they said it was Radial Nerve Palsy. They started me on Medrol and gave me a splint. I am now having twitches other places, up the same arm, in my legs, calf, other hand, and my left arm feels weird. I went back to the ER and they said peripheral neuropathy in respects to the original arm. All electrolytes are fine. I am extremely anxious that this could be the start of ALS. … read more

I would like a neurologist. Though, I know that all of you
Though, I know that all of you are experts. Based on my condition, I would like to speak with a neurologist. Age 46, female. No other medical issue to report. No family history of Parkinson's disease. The present symptoms are 3 months of fasciculations that started with the right index finger and thumb and is now widespread. Additionally, there have been what appears more like a tremor in the tongue, chin, fingers, and lip. Again, widespread fasciculations. Recently, loss finger coordination when typing with left hand. I don't know if it's uncoordinated because it's trembling a little when I type. It also has a feeling of getting stuck when typing or if I pretend I'm rotating my fingers to play the piano. Perceived muscle loss in both bottom parts of the arm. Not sure, this part could be my imagination. Now, high levels of anxiety. … read more
