I have been diagnosed with atypical Parkinson's disease.

Customer Question
I have been diagnosed...

I have been diagnosed with atypical Parkinson's disease. During a visit to my eye specialists yesterday the subject of an alternative diagnosis was discussed in relation to symptoms I have experienced with my eyes namely; my eyelids have a habit of closing down when I am a bit sleepy or just during a conversation with another person and, I have developed myofascial and joint pain in my arms, upper back and chest areas. It was suggested by the eye specialists that these symptoms were also typical of an uncommon neurological disease associated with the eye and, that it could be informative to consider these conditions. I cannot recall the specific name of the disease, and I have not been able to locate a possibility during an on line seach.

Doctor's Assistant: Did you have a recent injury to the eye? How is your vision?

Would you please comment on this and in your opinion the likelyhood of this being a possible causitative factor in my condition.

Doctor's Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

Regards,
