Hi, I am an American Board Certified Neurologist with vast experience in diagnosing & treating all neurological as well as all other health/medical conditions, and I am very glad to help you with your health concerns.

I see you have questions related to the mri spine findings as you have described above. As a Neurologist I am very familiar with this type of health situation and I can certainly help you in this regard.

The mri scan shows this finding;

"scattered nerve root sheath diverticula identified at multiple levels."

Please see this is considered as an entirely benign finding

These are tiny cyst like structures arising from meninges

Meninges are the sheaths of covering around the brain and spinal cord

The above cysts arise from the meninges, which form a sheath like wrapping around the nerve roots

Cysts are fluid filled cavities

The cysts your mri scan showed are very small in size

And these types of cysts do not cause any symptoms

These are also called as incidental findings because when the mri scan is done for some other purposes these findings are incidentally seen but these cysts themselves do not cause any symptoms or any problems

These cysts do not grow in size too

And also these types of cysts are not tumor or cancer in nature too.

Once again I reassure you, the above finding seen in the mri scan of the spine is totally a benign condition, it does not require any treatments, and this is not going to cause any health issues either currently or in the future too, so please not to be scared.

Wishing you the best health!

All the very best!

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or if you want to discuss this further.

Assuring you the best services!

Best Regards!
