Main symptoms: Woozy feeling light...
Main symptoms: Woozy feeling light headed type of looking at both computer screens and trying to focus my eyes is tough and continues to get worse but once I do it slower it focuses easier quicker. (Said if earlier but best way to explain is when you bend over and then stand up quick that type of feeling but all that time I am sure you can imagine it’s uncomfortable looking around all the time like that) secondary symptoms: Muscle fasculations all over body been going on with the light headedness when it all started. Weakness swallowing and progressing with the upper three Symtoms but started happening a bit later. Third level symtoms: Tingling in feet and itchy skin 5 days of it now consistently of that. This has been going on for 6-7 years have done lots of tests looking for things outside the box at this point it continues to get worse.

Hello, this is Dr. David. I am reviewing your question now and will be with you momentarily.

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

how old are you?

are you male or female?

do you have bad anxiety symptoms or anxiety disorder?

bad anxiety symptoms often can cause dizziness and vertigo symptoms, and can cause muscle fasciculations which are benign

and throat tightness and swallowing symptoms aswell

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
Do
You think Intracranial pressure would have been caught in MRI of brain?
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

increased intracranial pressure is best checked with a spinal tap or a very good eye fundus retina examination.

and causes symptoms of severe headaches

elevated intracranial pressure usually is not picked up on brain MRI scan

I bet your pressures are normal if you had a spinal tap.

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
I have not had a spinal tap
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
would prefer not to if there was other way of confirmation
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
would they go on for this amount of time?
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

yes, you can have a good retinal fundus examination by an eye doctor with a dilated pupil.

bad anxiety symptoms can go on for years and years

have you been on treatment for bad anxiety symptoms before?

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

if you want to accept additional phone consultation service charges, we can talk by phone

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
Okay no I have not
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
Retinal fundus with dilated pupils would confirm if there was pressure or not?
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
Just as good as lumbar puncture? Because I would rather do non invasive
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
Would this be plausible to have this light pressure get worse over years at a time?
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
6-7 years
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

yes, retinal optic nerve examination and brain MRI is as good as lumbar puncture

you are letting your anxiety and worry symptoms make you stressed about intracranial pressure which is most likely 100% normal.

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

sinus inflammation can get worse over years and cause dizziness symptoms as well

bad anxiety symptoms can get worse over years and years and cause dizziness symptoms .

have you been on treatment for bad anxiety symptoms before?

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
But this could slowly get worse over 6-7 years like this intracranial pressure? Sinus inflammation would not cause dizziness and symtoms do
Not seem similar
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

yes, bad anxiety symptoms can cause dizziness to slowly get worse over 6-7 years.

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
Okay I get that but could intracranial pressure progress like this as well?
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

most likely not.

increased intracranial pressure over that period of time would cause other symptoms and issues.

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
I know most likely is a word but at this point what ever I have is unlikely that is why I got this app
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

then go see an eye doctor and get a fundus examation of the back of your eye to check for increased intracranial pressure.

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
Would this be life threatening? If it’s benign like this no tumor or anything associated with it?
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

no, it doesn't sound life threatening.

I am a cancer doctor

no, I don't see a cancer or tumor causing your symptoms.

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
Okay hmmm do you think it could have something to do
With my liver not functioning properly all my enzyme are normal except high billirubin. One thing I will say you know when your head is dizzy from spinning around and your eyes try and focus on things but they can’t clearly that is kind of the feeling when I turn I get that dizzy feeling and my eyes don’t enable me to focus because my brain is saying I am dizzy so it’s a bit fuzzy that is what gets worse.
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

no, your symptoms would be associated with your liver.

bad anxiety symptoms often can cause dizziness and vertigo symptoms

have you been on treatment for bad anxiety symptoms before?

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
What will they prescribe and what does it do?
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

there are medications which can help decrease anxiety symtoms

there are many different types of treatment for anxiety

each has different side effects.

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
Okay well what does it do specifically?
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

SSRI medications like sertraline and fluoxetine and paroxetine can help increase serotonin in brain receptors over time which can help decrease anxiety and depression symptoms

benzodiazepine medications like diazepam, clonazepam, and lorazepam, alprazolam can help calm you down and help relax you and relax your muscles to help decrease anxiety symptoms

beta blockers like propranolol can help slow down fast heart rate seen in patients with bad anxiety symptoms which can help.

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
Hmmm I don’t panic
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
No high pulse
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
It doesn’t seem I have anxiety
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

patients are not good to assess their own anxiety symptoms

best to talk to your doctor about it and have your doctor assess you

How do you get rid of PVC and PAC
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
It stops me from running and how did I get both of them?
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

your heart testing is normal

bad anxiety often causes PVC and PAC

these are very common as we get older and normal

you should do other exercises like eliptical or speed walking to exercise.

Ask Your Own Neurology Question
Customer reply replied 1 month ago
How do you get rid of them
Neurologist: Dr. David, Board Certified MD replied 1 month ago

you need treatment to decrease anxiety symptoms

and you need to continue to exercise how you can

a beta blocker could help.

cutting out caffeine. checking your thyroid hormone levels

but some levels of PVC and PAC are 100% normal

and can be worsened by bad anxiety symptoms

I already have done diet
