Customer Question
I have problems in...

I have problems in almost every disc and vertebral. My MRI states C7-T1 streak artifact obscuring the spinal canal contents. I had laminectomy with fusion, but L5-S1. Please explain what first one means. Thank-you

Doctor's Assistant: Do you have frequent headaches? Any issues with coordination or balance?

Yes, everyday.

Doctor's Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

Nerve damage in both legs and arms. I have so many problems in my spine, from C3-S1

Doctor's Assistant: What seems to make the symptoms worse or better? Have you noticed any swelling?

Nothing, but laying down. Swelling everywhere. Muscles in back atrophied three inches. Muscle spasms so bad I get black and blues from them.

Hello and welcome to Just Answer. I looking forward to assisting you with your question and providing excellent service. Streak artifact can happen when there is metal in the spine. It occurs because the metal attenuates the signal differently and causes structures Behind the metal to appear differently. It means they canno see the inside of the spinal canal near the artifact well enough to make any diagnosis. Its unavoidable
