Age 73. 100 mg bid. Increased stomach acid, bloating, gas, difficulty swallowing twice this pat 6 months. I had to stop eating. It took about 30 minutes to subside. I lost 40 lbs this past year. Stopped eating wheat, dairy products, no fried foods, no spicy foods, use coconut oil to cook with, no microwave, no alcohol, and eating less. Look good, but feel like crap as the day progresses. Take tramadol to resolve a Chinese all over. Also fatigue. I am happily married, have 3 horses, live on 20 acres, enjoy cutting trees, putting up fences, running a tractor, riding, etc.. it seems, when the stomach is irritated, I get cervical pain, and occasionally pressure in the head. That is when the blood pressure rises. It seems as if all the symptoms coincide with what happens, when the vagus nerve malfunctions?

it doesn't sound like vagus nerve

it sounds like you are having acid refux and esophageal spasms.

you may need a stomach acid reducing reducing medications to decrease stomach acid

you may need medications like bentyl to decrease esophageal spasms.

you may need higher doses of sertraline to help decrease stomach acid.
