I had a total knee replacement on April 15, 2017. I am still in excruciating pain and my knee is still swollen. all the pain meds did not touch it and I feel like it is worse than before I had it done. I also hear and feel a click when I bend my knee. I did all that the doc said and completed 30 visits of physical therapy as required, and while i have motion, i still have lots of pain. I still do not sleep well and he has tried me on antiflamatory and pain meds to no help at all. Is this normal? I am a healthy 65 year old male and am in good shape.

Doctor's Assistant: What medications do you take daily? Are you allergic to any medications?

None

Doctor's Assistant: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?

I had rotator cuff tear repair surgery and had NO PAIN, which all the docs and nurses said was not usual.. but i sailed through that recovery, this knee is awful and i feel something may be wrong, i do not want to lose my leg!
