Once again I am sorry to hear about your health situation secondary to the brain injury. I see you have mentioned many health symptoms above and expressed your concerns on treating them.

You have mentioned the following symptoms; ataxia unbalanced, tremors, slurred speech, sleeplisness. I will discuss the treatment options for each of the above mentioned symptoms one by one below here;

A) Treatments for ataxia & balance issues;

Buspirone

Amantadine

Acetazolamide

Propranolol

Clonazepam

Gabapentin

Vitamin E etc

B) Treatments for tremors;

Propranolol

Primidone

Topiramate

Gabapentin

Remeron

Alprazolam etc

C) Treatment for slurring of speech;

Speech therapy

Memantine

rTMS (repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation)

tDCS (transcranial direct current stimulation)

CIAT (Constraint Induced Aphasia Therapy) with Memantine etc

D) Treatment for sleeplessness (the spelling was not clear above, if it was not sleeplessness rather sleepiness please let me know and I can give you different options);

Various medications that can help with sleeplessness that include Melatonin,

Valerian root extract, Chamomile, Pregabalin, Gabapentin, Amitriptyline, Zaleplon,

Zolpidem, Zopiclone, Eszopiclone, Suvorexant etc

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)

CES (Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation)

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy etc

I am not telling all these above mentioned treatments are required in your case; I am trying to provide a list of the various treatment options like this so that you are familiar with various treatment options that are available for your condition and you may try to use them as necessary. If you see any of the above treatments you have already tried please disregard them and you may explore the treatment options which you may have not yet tried.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions or if you want to discuss this further.

Assuring you the best services!
