I'm at a crossroads with treatment I have been diagnosed

Customer Question

I'm at a crossroads with treatment I have been diagnosed with small fiber polyneuropathy. It started in the peripheral nervous and has progressed to my autonomic nervous system. I also have a diagnosis of PTSD. What concerns me the most is its idopathic and I have a great deal of cognitive issues. I have had neuropsychological testing to confirm the significant delays, imaging, labs, spinal tab, etc. my neurologist has come up with nothing. I'm worried about where this leaves me.
JA: Do you have frequent headaches? Any issues with coordination or balance?
Customer: Yes I have chronic migraines I get occipital nerves blocks, take a preventive and an abortive. My insurance won't approve Botox. Yes I often use a cane on days with bad balance.
JA: Is the headache episodic or daily? And what about nausea?
Customer: It used to be daily but now with the nerve blocks maybe twice a week. I have nausea frequently, several times a week. I take phenergan, zofran does not work.
JA: Anything else in your medical history you think the doctor should know?
Customer: I've had three back surgeries. Two lumber laminectomies, one spinal fusion L5-S1 first 1 at age 26 we don't know what happened I'm now 43.

I think it can't be ignored how much your meds might be playing a role

My physician specifically pointed out the topomax so we stopped it for awhile and things didn't seem to improve
