Hello and welcome I'm Dr Chip

Sorry to hear about your son but I'm a little unclear about your question?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
He had two seizers one last night and one this morning . He is in Hawaii and he has no history of this before and is to fly home today yet he is at an urget care. What should we do ? We are in California and he was on vacation . The only did a CT no MRI said CT was clear last night sent him home and he had another one this morning.

OK--I understand

Is he at the urgent care right now?

And were the seizures witnessed by anyone else?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
At urget care they were witnessed by his girlfriend and her mother . They want to put him on Keppra 1000 mg and send him to a Outpatient MD tomorrow. He does not live there and I want him at an acute hospital. He only weights 136lbs 1000mg. Sounds like a lot!

I think it's a bit extreme to put him on Keppra right now

He obviously needs to see a neurologist and get more testing including an evoked potential EEG

But for now, I think it's OK to let him fly home and get admitted to a hospital when he arrives
