I had surgery a week ago to correct a botched ankle surgery

Customer Question

I had surgery a week ago to correct a botched ankle surgery the previous week. Now the swelling will not go down in foot and ankle in spite of elevating and icing. Taking lots of vitamins and eating excellent diet. I still have a splint which irritates me somewhat, I feel if this is off when I am lying down it might help with swelling. Or what can I do. Stitches are pulling apart somewhat and healing is not going well. I am not diabetic.

If swelling is not going down , it would be ideal to have Doppler Ultrasound to rule out DVT , if Ultrasound is clear than nothing to worry , but please get Ultrasound , this is important .

Good luck .

Positive feedback will be appreciated .

Thanks .
