Hello and welcome. I'm Dr Chip

This sounds like a neuropathy problem from one or more nerve roots in your lower spine being compressed.

Usually rest for a few days will improve this and ibuprofen can also help, but you need to let your doctor know since I would get an MRI scan of your lumbar spine to check for a ruptured disk problem.

Please let me know if you need any more information.

I do have two compressed discs in my lower lumbar which showed up in an MRI back in March. I have had a little pain in the lower right back.
Expert:  Dr Chip (M.D.) replied 9 months ago.

OK. but compressed disks don't press on nerve roots and don't cause the leg symptoms you have now. Since March you may have suffered a ruptured disk or two so I would repeat the MRI now.

If you need more discussion I'll be more than happy to continue but please consider rating my service to you.
