Customer Question

I have been diagnosed with muscular atrophy. I do walk with a 4 wheel buggy with a seat, am very active, still work every day. No other problems. I am a young 83 going on 40. Any suggestions for improvement or possibly another diagnosis?

Hello, this is Dr. David. I am reviewing your question now and will be with you momentarily.

I am sorry you have muscular atrophy.

that is good you are active and work everyday.

you should keep walking and eat some more protein in your diet.

if your kidneys are healthy, eating more protein and exercise can help you build more muscles.

sometime as we get older, it can get harder to absorb protein from the bowels to help build muscle.
