Customer Question

Hello I wake up with black spots in my vision. Sometimes can see black outlines of my veins. Have floaters, and when look at the sky see white flashes. Also looking across a street see black spots or scotomas. Have been evaluated by both an opthomogist and neurogist. No gross defects probably migraines. Use alcohol, dipping tobbacco, pre-diabetes, high choloestrol, and sleep apnea. Family history of hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, lukemia, high cholestrol, and pancerites.

Since you were evaluated by both an opthomogist and neurogist, your problem could be be psychological such as conversion disorder and anxiety disorder. You should see a psychiatrist to have exam.

A psychiatrist did exam found anxiety disorder but not related to this event and prior to these events. The Neorologist has recommended botox but I wonder if it can get rid of these symptoms or if the sleep apnea is somehow agravating this problem. General floters and spots have got better with glasses it is these morning spots and having that one spot return in the same area occassonally when looking up and too the left are what is realing puzzling to me. Not sure if the botox would help for this case are not? Neurogist still wants to go up on topimate and gabapentrin but would the weird visual effects get worse? Opthomogist also wonders if Rizatriptan caused a temporary artery blocked. So I am left with more questions.
