hi my friend has been having pain in both legs with burning and her feet are numb and tingly she has been like this for at least 7 days she has a herniated disk in lumbar region dr thought it was sciatica did MRI but was normal now the neurologist has ordered "emergency" emg what do u think might be possible causes for her condition? i wanted to add that she has only been walking a couple feet since this started and she leads an almost completely sedentary lifestyle even before this and she is obese

it didnt seem like she even had it and noone went in the room with her the dr gave her percoset but she said it really didnt help is that possible? i know that is a very strong pain medicine also she said that after the emg tomorrow that they were going to give her an anti-inflammatory she said the same kind that caused her to have a seizure im just confused as to why they would give her anything before they know whats wrong
