Customer Question

I had foam sclerotherapy a few weeks ago. It was a large vein. I developed the hard cord feeling in the vein which they say is normal and will go away. My concern is that corded vein is tender to the touch. Is that part of it being corded? Is it normal? No signs of a clot and it was a while ago

If it is exquisitely tender to touch and the overlying skin is also red, then this may be a sign of infection for which you may require a course of an antibiotic.

If it is somewhat tender and the overlying skin is normal then I would not worry.

I would just wait for another two to four weeks and you should be okay.
