Hello from JustAnswer.

It will help if you could provide some additional information.

Could you give more detail about the location of the swelling?

Is it the entire hand equally? Or does it affect one finger more than the others? Or the back more than the front?

Is the forearm or upper arm affected?

How long has this been bothering you?

Are there any associated symptoms?

I had asked for some further information and have not heard back.

There are many different possible causes of hand swelling and the pattern of swelling and associated symptoms would suggest the most likely cause. Without knowing the additional information, the best that can be said is that it would be reasonable to try some over the counter medicines that treat some of the common causes. You have already tried Benadryl, which would help allergic conditions that cause swelling. The other major medicine to try would be the use of an anti-inflammatory medicine, such as naproxen, which could help relieve musculoskeletal inflammation.

If I can provide any additional information, please let me know.
