Is it dangerous for a person who is on seizure medicine

Customer Question

Is it dangerous for a person who is on seizure medicine Keppra to drink alcohol?

Not exactly dangerous, but it is not recommended to use alcohol when you are taking Keppra as it increases the central nervous side effects, specifically dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty in concentrating. You may also face difficulty in motor coordination. If you have consumed alcohol while being on Keppra, you are advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery
