Now having many neurological problems MRI with contrast show diminished blood flow to brain with twists in left vertebral artery and abnormal distention and pressure on brain and immature right vertebral artery not doing much of the work. Mri also show some surgery site degeneration. Further it is possible I have Paraneoplastic symptoms from cancer in colon which was removed but brain still producing antibodies not yet identified but causing neurological grief. I have severe vision problems, balance and gait problems, neuropathies, body jerks at shoulders and legs and arms rise up on their own. I have some swallow problems but I can control being carefull when I eat..My original surgery was by Dr. Thomas Freeman at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Fl March of 2006. I am William Baughman now in Chandler Az. I am seeing Dr. Sandra Kunijosi in MESA AND THEY ARE REVIEWING MY RECORDS WITH A VASCULAR BRAIN SURGEON and I have no answers from them as yet over two weeks..I feel I am a time bomb lucky to awake in the morning..I need some help..Thank you

Hi. You have a complicated situation with klippel feil sugary and now VBI. Options might include stenting of the non-atretic vertebral artery but you need a perfusion/ diffusion study (MRI sequence study) to determine your regional blood flow to the posterior fossa structures of your brain to determine what can be done. I assume you are on meds like plavix ( clopidogrel)? To improve blood flow. How can I help? Have you had a PET-FDG for the colon CA follow up? Dr Frank
