Yes, in most cases this is true. Digital subtraction CT angiography has very high sensitivities of about 90% for aneurysms less than 3 mm, 94% for those between 3 and 5 mm, 98% between 5 and 10 mm, and nearly 100% for 10 mm (1cm) or greater.
