I had trigiminal neuralgia in face.I had the Gamma Knife

Customer Question

I had trigiminal neuralgia in face.I had the Gamma Knife done to brain. It stopped the pain, leaving me with numbness in lips and cheek. After 6 years I am walking with a bent forward gait with weakness in back / legs numb toes and hot tingling in knees.I am using a cane and can only walk30 feet without sitting down. Cant stand and cook, shower, etc.Could that Gamma procedure have injured my brain/ spine stem. Sandi

This is not brain stem.

And it should not be from your procedure.

You need other testing as this can be a more systemic autoimmune disease, as one example.

OK, so that is an initial answer….
