Customer Question

After suffering a spinal cord injury of unknown etiology at T12-T11-L1, is there a window of time that is the most critical to the legs fully recovering? Meaning, do I need to push myself hard now, or is resting ok? I am scared to miss a window of opportunity.

This is Dr. David

you should push yourself hard now in rehabilitation.

there is no window which will guarantee full recovery.

you should push yourself hard every day and rest when you can to help with recovery.

you should look into clinical trails as well to look for studies for patients who have spinal cord injuries
