I have a dull ache in my lower right calf of my leg at night

Customer Question

I have a dull ache in my lower right calf of my leg at night when I lay on my side to sleep. I also get it when I stand in one place for a long period of time. What could be the cause for this?

Hi there.
Thank you for your question.
I will be helping you out with your concerns today.
I am sorry to hear about your problem.
I think that it could be disc related or a pinched nerve in the back.
The only thing that can definitively rule out or diagnose such a problem is MRI of the lower back.
So I would recommend that you should have MRI of your lower back.
Additionally I would recommend taking calcium, magnesium and vitamin D supplements as well to see if those help.
