Hi, I am an American Board Certified Neurologist and I am very glad to help you with your health concerns.
1) Are you having only vertigo (spinning type of dizziness) or is there light-headedness type of dizziness too (woozy feeling or fainting kind of feeling)?
2) Did this start suddenly/somewhat suddenly or did this come on gradually/slowly?
3) I see that you will have blood tests & brain MRI very soon, have you had any investigations already done (for example a CAT scan of the brain, prior blood tests etc)?
4) Are you having any other symptoms like muscle weakness/paralysis, numbness, tingling (pins & needle feeling), headache, nausea, vomiting, speech difficulties, confusion, facial droop, double vision, ear symptoms like ringing in the ear, deafness etc?
5) Have you tried any treatments to control these symptoms, and what are your current treatments (medications or non-medication treatments)?
6) Do you have any medical conditions like low blood pressure, high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, thyroid diseases or any other?
