Customer Question

I gave birth 6 weeks ago. Within the first couple of weeks, I developed a bizarre pain in the right side of the very upper part of my buttocks/very bottom part of my back. When I would turn certain ways while standing or laying down, I would get a sudden burning/stinging pain there. Almost felt like someone snapped a rubber band under my skin. It went on for a couple of weeks but has stopped. Now I have found I am completely numb in that spot and from time to time the area itches intensely! I had some sciatic pain during my pregnancy, but I did with my first pregnancy too and that pain went away entirely after I gave birth. I'm wondering if I have sustained some kind of real injury to my sciatic nerve, or if not what is causing these weird sensations?
