Spitting blood only after sleeping. Got a bit worse after

Customer Question

Spitting blood only after sleeping. Got a bit worse after head injury when I slipped on wet floor. However, no real bruising on head and only spit blood after sleeping but about 1/3 size of a walnut. Went to doctor and he ordered blood count. I have high
white blood cell count (10K). Scared I could have a brain tumor since the bleeding I spit after head injury increased. My brain functions well as far as reading, thinking, driving, and communicating are concerned. Thinking about asking for an mri.

Hi, I amCustomer an American Board Certified Neurologist with vast clinical experience and I am very glad to help you with your health question.
First I will try to gather some additional information from you through these following questions;
1) Approximately for how long are you having this symptom of spitting the blood?
2) Did your doctors investigate to find out the cause for the bleeding?
3) Any headache or nausea or vomiting?
4) Any seizure attacks?
Please answer the above questions for me, I will go through these additional information and then post my answer here at the earliest.
Best regards,
