I have very painful (what seems to be) veins in my right

Customer Question

I have very painful (what seems to be) veins in my right arm, they look as well as feel inflamed, they are of a more obvious blue than my other veins, the pain is constant but is worse with movement... the pain is mainly located in my inner bicep, the crease of my arm, foreside of my wrist and back of my hand. I have recently taken up weightlifting but it does not feel like muscle strain, had blood pressure and tests taken which came back fine. Any ideas what this could be? Why it happened? And how i can treat it?

How long have you had this? Does it ever effect your left arm?
