This is Dr. David
usually aspergillus is only a risk to the brain in patients who have severe suppression of their immune system like cancer patients or HIV patients who have not received HIV therapy.
it sounds like she is most likely having seizures or possibly low blood sugar or low blood pressure causing her to pass out.
she could have a blockage of blood flow to the brain possibly.
I hope the brain MRI scan was done with contrast.
the EEG can check for seizure activity
she needs her blood pressure and glucose levels checked when she has these passing out episodes.
she might benefit from an MR angiogram to check the blood vessels of her brain as well.
where is her fungus infection on her body?
