This answer was rated:

I got a head CT scan w/ & w/out contrast back, & the report was everything normal but there is "partial opacification of the ethmoid air cells bilaterally," & "mucosal thickening in the left frontal sinus."
What does this mean? Is it serious?
No this is not serious.
Simply is mentioning that some of her sinuses may be "working" more than normal. For example this could mean that you have a cold or inflamed sinuses from illnesses such as allergies.
Nothing needs to be done about this. It is simply the radiologist mentioning everything they saw on the scan.
