I have been diagnosed with inflamation in my back. I have severe pain in my left leg. Are there foods that causes inflamation.

There are no typical foods that "cause" inflammation.

This is typically an issue with degenerative changes in the lower back, or issues due to pressure on the nerves (such as from a herniated disc, bone spurs, or arthritis in the lower back).

The naproxen is a medication which can help with inflammation, since it is in the category of anti-inflammatory medications.

Steroid medications taken for a short time can also help.

But if you are having severe back and leg pain - further evaluation with a MRI of the lumbar spine would be helpful to determine if any of the conditions I described above would be the cause of your symptoms.
