this is for dr. mark,
well, it's me again.this time I want to know if I can order elastic arch support for my arch due to plantars facitisis. I do have numbness in some of my toes probably due to my diabetes. many do not recommend these due to bad circulation in diabetic feet. I have one in mind that has an adjustable strap so I can adjust the tightness. My A1c blood test last time (3 months ago) was 6.4 which is considered good. so why do I have this neuropathy in my toes this early on in diabeties. I was gestional diabetic and 18 years later I was pre diabetic and now 4 yrs later I am diabetic. I take 1500 metformin daily. also 600mg of cinnamon. oh well this foot this is so painful. today I wrappen an ace bandage around foot and it felt pretty good. Will this facitis ever go away and is there anything I can do to get rid of the toe numbness besides keeping sugar under control?

cordisone shot which sent me through the roof but it helped for a month. now pain is back. bought some shoe insoles to give some arch support. minor relief. staying off my feet seems to help but that is unrealistic
