JustAnswerDear Diksha,Thank you for waiting. As I wrote before, I have my brother's 1966-70 Fender Stratocaster, sunburst pattern; no strap; needs back plate; original sales receipt dated
October 8,1971. Additional parts, manual, etc., also are enclosed. Bob was 15 when he bought it. There is a very good guitar repairman/musician here in Sedona. I want him to put the guitar in playing condition.Please give me an appraisal and any other advice as to what should be done in the repair. I was told that the wear on the guitar should not be repaired, as it can actually enhance the desirability of it, and is expected on a guitar of this age. I think the case needs repair, as not doing so would cause it to further deteriorate.Please advise me on all of the above. At your request, photos are enclosed.Thank you very much.Regards,
