Customer Question

Hello, I recently inherited a 70 year old Hamilton piano in excellent condition. It's made of burled wood and simply needs a little cleaning and tuning. Any idea what this antique piano would be worth? A ballpark is fine.
Thank you,

Is this an upright? Any condition issues?

it is a upright and there is only one condition issue, a very small and hard to see chip on one key. Otherwise, it's in excellent conditoin

Thanks for the info. Old uprights aren't worth too much due to old age and declining mechanical condition (unless full restoration has taken place). They aren't valued like antiques because of this. Based on the info provided and the used piano market, you could expect approximately $200-$500 in a private sale. Best wishes!
